A Study on the Estimation of Quantitative Damage on Solar Encroachment using the Winter Solar Window 겨울태양창을 이용한 정량적 일조피해의 추정에 관한 연구

Abstract

This paper presents the way of estimating quantitative damage on solar encroachment using the winter solar window of the vertical sun path diagram. The winter solar window is divided into 108 parts that are composed of 18 divisions of time by 6 divisions of date. The direct solar heat radiation of each part that is blocked by surrounding buildings during three months from November 21 to February 21 is calculated based on the incident solar angle on a window of a residence. Then the direct solar heat radiations are multiplied by the physical characteristics of windows and the city gas price and added up to become the total increased heating expense of a residence during the underheated period of three months.
