To improve the fire safety of bed mattress, a frame including Fixed aerosol compound was made and a frame was installed under the bed mattress or between the bed mattress and bed mattress base fire tests (real scale) were conducted. Free burning started after burner ignition on bed mattress, and fire proceeded in the upper, side and inward directions. top mattress surface and internal temperature rose as the top mattress and the spring fall caused the bottom mattress to burn simultaneously. It has been confirmed that fixed aerosol compounds ignite and emit solid aerosol compounds due to thermal effects such as flame and heat (about 500℃ or higher). As a result of the bed mattress (SS) test, the solid aerosol compound was ignited (released) at 170 s after the burner ignition, and the maximum heat release rate at this point was measured to about 220 kW. And as a result of the bed mattress (SS) test, the solid aerosol compound was ignited (released) at 183 s after the burner ignition, and the maximum heat release rate at this point was measured to about 255 kW. It is extinguished within 60 s after the end of discharge, and can not be reproduced (ignited) within 600 s. After 600 s, It was not reproduced (ignited) by opening the door.
